Thoughts on Thursday: autumn

After a rather blustery couple of days, we are back to blue skies and sunshine, but I, on the other hand, am feeling lousy. Nothing more serious than the dull aches, dry throat and desire to sleep off the start of a cold, but enough for me to take a day of work, have both a morning nap and an afternoon nap, and read a book.

This week’s small pleasures #129

With the death toll in Christchurch having risen to 50 since my last post, and a country still in shock, it is at times like this that we have to remember the good things in life. We need to think about the small pleasures that bring smiles to our faces and joy to our hearts.

As the end of the year approaches, lots of bloggers are doing reviews of the year gone by, and I have to confess, I am jumping on that particular bandwagon as well.
