In all honesty, I struggled a bit this week to find some small pleasures. It was just one of those weeks – bad weather, the cancellation of a foodie event and the Royal New Zealand Ballet’s Venus Rising programme due to Level 2 restrictions, and feeling a bit under the weather. So here we are at the end of another week and time to take a look back at the week’s small pleasures.
Now I am one of those people who finds baking relaxing.
While lots of bloggers in the northern hemisphere are writing about autumn, pumpkins, leaves falling off trees and getting cosy, down here we are in the process of celebrating spring.
