I was looking for a quote about reading to use in this post and came across this one from Jean Rhys: Reading makes immigrants of us all. It takes us away from home, but more important, it finds homes for us everywhere.
I love reading but often find it hard to carve out the time. I walk to work, so don’t have a commute on which to read.
Here we are at the end of January already. Where has the month gone? We are enjoying really good summer weather, with warm days and sunshine. January has been a good month – no doubt holidays and good weather have played a part in lifting the mood. Anyway here are a few favourites from this month.
Well, you can really tell it is autumn in the northern hemisphere as all the new series start up, whether that be on terrestrial television, Netflix or whatever. For us of course it is spring, but the longer days haven’t stopped us from evenings of viewing. It was also a month for some good reading and listening.
