This week’s Wordless Wednesday features visitors to the garden this evening enjoying the bee balm bergamot. The leaves and blooms contain antiseptic compounds which can be infused as a tea to soothe sore throats and ease cold symptoms. But I will leave them to others to enjoy….

You can find Thistles and Kiwis on Facebook, and also on Instagram@thistleandkiwis. As for Twitter….am totally inactive these days. If you want to get in touch, email me on thistlesandkiwis@gmail.com

GREAT PHOTOS! It will be a while before I see flowers on the wild Monarda fistulosa. Ummm… You broke the rules for Wordless Wednesday, though. 🙂
