No series of blogmas posts is complete without some reference to Christmas music. Whether it be A Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols from King’s College Chapel or Mariah Carey on loop, there is something for everyone. You can check out the six I picked last year here, below are my six for this year. I make no apologies for having a lot of old songs!
Some of you may well have been involved/taken part in Whamaggdon. The objective of this challenge is to go as long as possible without hearing this song. You can read about it on the website.
A true classic…even though we’ll be having a sunny Christmas (I hope!).
Frank Sinatra Walking in a Winter Wonderland
What’s not to like about Frank singing Christmas songs?
Another classic, and on my favourite Christmas album.
A great one to sing!
A Swedish classic.
Etta James Merry Christmas Baby
Yes the old ones are the good ones!
What are some of your favourite seasonal songs? It’s the Second Sunday in Advent too today, hence the two candles at the top of the post.
