How my blog started: As the tagline, says, my blog is about a Scottish woman, who lived in Denmark, and moved to New Zealand. I started the blog to cover our move and new life. We’ve been here a while now, but I’ve kept the blog going. By the way, I noticed my ‘about’ page has disappeared, so need to sort that out!

Advice to new bloggers: Write honestly. You don’t have to reveal everything about your life, but be honest. Use social media. I didn’t and still don’t have a proper social media strategy, but it is an essential part of getting your blog out there. I should practice what I preach!

I love these posts. Even though, my blogs may or may not be mentioned, I like learning more about each writer by what blogs they like, AND I can find new blogs to follow!!!! What a fascinating life to have gone from Scotland, to Denmark to New Zealand!

Thanks! Re social media – having an active Facebook page, Instagram account, Twitter etc. Some people also have a Pinterest account for their blog.
