Usually when the weather sees that there is a public holiday on the calendar, it arranges for rain or wind or whatever bad weather seems appropriate. However, this holiday weekend in Wellington has been gorgeous and sunny, if a bit chilly. I walked to the market on Sunday, enjoying the sun and view.
