I was lucky enough to have a window seat flying from Perth to Sydney last week….this is what I saw.
Leaving Perth…

Flying over Western Australia…

Hi Barbara, great aerial shots of your flight home. The lakes in the barren landscape are full by the look of it. Thanks for sharing with us at #WWWhimsy and have a great week. Sue L #TeamWWWhimsy x

We were so lucky with a cloudless sky allowing us to see more of Australia. Enjoy your week!

I have just learned that these tipped up wing tips are very good for fuel economy.

I love your photos from the plane Barbara. They make me want to pack my suitcase and fly off somewhere. We don’t have any overseas trips planned for next year but have been thinking about NZ.

I enjoy seeing our world from above. My son has just left Glasgow for the long flight to South Africa … happiness is!

Great photos of the flight Barbara. I’ve not done this flight at all so your photos were very interesting to see the countryside from above.
Thanks for sharing with us for Min’s #WWWhimsy linkup.

It was fantastic to really see Australia in this way.

I never tire of looking out the aeroplane window which is why I have always selected that seat. The hugeness of Australia and the vast tracks of shrubs and more is amazing. I haven’t flown for some time but I so remember the outback of NSW well. Coming over Sydney Harbour is always a treat.

I still stare out in wonder like a child when I have a window seat. I still remember flying from Seoul to Amsterdam and seeing the Gobi Desert and Mongolia.

Looks very different from the sky than it did on the ground via the Indian Pacific!
