As I won’t be participating in Six on Saturday hosted by Jim over at Garden Ruminations, I thought I’d take the chance today to update on my dahlia as I now have two blooms (well one is almost out…). I can’t tell you how happy this has made me! The dahlia is Pablo.
I am looking forward to seeing everyone’s beautiful gardens in other parts of the world on Saturday. Hope you are all well and enjoying your gardens in whatever the season is with you.

I was given some dahlias several years ago and planted them in a corner of my garden. Every year they come up with little help from me and right now I have been graced with a beautiful red flower, which brings me great joy.

How lovely! One of my four plants just died, two haven’t flowered but at least have had leaves.

What colors! I love the complexity and the gradation. Mother Nature is such a wonderful artist.

The dahlias are beautiful! It is still winter here where I am, spring about 6 weeks away.
