Blast from the past. I remember in 1962 walking up and down Baldwin Street in Dunedin.

Those are beautiful murals and sculptures, especially the cloud catcher one.

Looks like a very charming place to me! Not too big and homey!

Almost round every corner, there was something to see.

Ok so how fit would you be walking up & down that street, would park with front wheel turned into the gutter & a brick under the back tyres, then tie a rope to a pole & the car, lol. The murals are amazing such fun talent. Great photos.

That is one mighty steep street! It must be challenging to actually park one’s car with that amount of slope!
The street art is quite fabulous! My favourite is the whimsical penguin.

I guess people get used to driving up the steep streets? I hope so!

I sometimes have a dream/nightmare that I am driving up such a street but I can’t move forward and I am slowly reversing against my will!

I’ve never seen those steep roads but I’m liking the look of that mural.
