The 100th small pleasures post! Gosh…well, in a week that saw quite a bit of winter sunshine, work trips for both of us, and friends for a long Sunday lunch, it was a full week.
Blue skies
I always love this view from the top of the cable car, and on a lovely sunny winter day, it really lifts the spirits.
Lemons
Flowers
From stunning camellias at the back of our house to the magnolia beginning to bloom in the Botanic Gardens, there are a lot of flowers showing their faces right now. Our magnolia is in bud too (see the featured image at the top of the post).
Ducks
I have done the first two days of the ‘couch to 5km’ challenge, but on day 1 I stopped to admire these two beautiful ducks, which appear to be Cayuga, with a suspicion they might be crossed with a Muscovy as there is pink on the bill.
