So here we are again, that time of the week when we remember the small pleasures of our every day lives. Charlie and I have been at home today, both suffering from colds, so it makes it even more important to remember the good things of the past week.
Tea
I had a tidy up the other day, and was horrified surprised to find I had so many teas. This did not stop me re-purchasing this amazing coconut chai from Storm and India. It is one of my favourite teas, with its rich taste of ginger and cinnamon with real pieces of coconut. Highly recommended.

Scone
All week I had been dreaming of a cheese scone, so on Saturday morning I had one with my usual pre-Pilates tea at Ekor Bookshop and Cafe. It did not disappoint.

Candlestick
The last thing this house needs is another candlestick. I have been thinking about this one from Città for a few weeks, and decided yes, I did want it, and yes, I wanted the dark green one. I just love the shape.

Sunday dinner
I made a big pot of pea soup, just right in this weather. We followed it up with left over apple and rhubarb crumble.
Camellia
Our camellia bush is coming into flower – here is one of the first blooms.

Thanks to Mani over at A New Life Wandering for the original idea.
