Blogmas 2017 Day 8: Friday

So here we are at the end of week 1 of Blogmas and Christmas only a couple of weeks away. The good weather continues here (it was 28C here yesterday) , and we have been promised ‘picnic weather’ for Christmas.  Hoorah!   It is also Friday…and the weekend is around the corner.

It’s been glorious walking to and from work this week. I spotted a rosella at the Botanic Gardens and met a duck family out for a morning stroll.  The ducklings are getting really big now, though not too big for mum to boss about.

We got our first Christmas card yesterday, and it almost feels as if the season seems to be getting underway.  I bought some more stocking fillers, and some things to make gift tags.  The order for our Swedish essential treats for Christmas Eve has been placed, and there is an atmosphere about that says summer holidays are approaching.
