If we were having coffee…or even a cup of tea, I would tell you about your trip to Melbourne and how it felt like a proper break, and that I am so looking forward to being on holiday and not to have to go to work for two and a half weeks.
If we were having coffee…or even a cup of tea, I would tell you about the amazing cherries I bought this week, from a roadside stall next to the Botanic Gardens. They were the best cherries I have had in years. We would also note that peaches are in the shops and that asparagus is still plentiful. I would repeat how much better fruit and veg is here than in Denmark, particularly radishes which have that lovely peppery taste I remember from years ago. And then I would ask you, why do I always buy aubergines? And we laugh as it is really only because they look so beautiful.
A feast to be had
If we were having coffee…or even a cup of tea, we would be indoors, looking out at a misty afternoon, and realising another weekend is probably going to go by without us getting anything done about the jungle outside.
If we were having coffee, or even a cup of tea, we would be amazed at how quickly this year has past, how close it is to Christmas, but also wondering what 2016 will bring.
Have a great weekend…..
