A mini post about the rest our weekend away. After our visit to Stonehenge Aotearoa, we drove the sort distance to Greytown, a lovely wee town with a main street full of shops, cafes and mainly Victorian era architecture.

We stopped at the Greytown Hotel for lunch, sitting out in the hot sunshine, almost getting burned by the winter sun. This hotel is credited with being one of New Zealand’s oldest surviving hotels and has a great porch to sit out on in the sun.
A very tasty venison burger, with a glass of pinot gris

Greytown is a good place to stop off in when in the area, especially if you like browsing shops and stopping off at cafes.

Looks like a nice little place. Don’t think I’ve ever been to Greytown. Those chips look MASSIVE, haha!
