And so to this week’s Cee’s Share Your World challenge
What are your favorite spices?
Easy – cinnamon and nutmeg. Nothing beats the smell of cinnamon in a cake baking on a winter’s day.
What object do you always have with you when traveling and why?
Can I have more than one? A charger for my phone/ipad, a book, a pen and notebook – all to keep me occupied on the journey. A toothbrush (obvious).
What is one thing you love about being an adult?
Being able to say ‘no’ without people saying ‘oh come on give it a go’.
What item, that you don’t have already, would you most like to own?
A proper desk, in my own little office.
Bonus question: What are you grateful for from last week,
Good weather at the weekend. We had a lovely day out on Sunday, we driving up the coast to Raumati Beach, just south of Paraparaumu, to have lunch at the Waterfront Bar and walk along the sands.
Raumati Beach no 1
Raumati Beach no 2
There were even people swimming in the sea – not me though!
…and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?
This week is the lead up to Anzac Day on Saturday. We are off to see Australian Rules football on Saturday and Monday is a holiday.

Looks like it might have been a little cool for swimming. 🙂 Thanks for sharing.

Great answers. What is Anzac Day?

Anzac Day is the 25th April. It commemorates all New Zealanders and Australians killed in war, as well as returned servicemen and women. The date itself marks the anniversary of the landing of New Zealand and Australian soldiers, known as the Anzacs, on the Gallipoli Peninsula in 1915. This year there are lots of extra events due to the 100th anniversary.

Love nutmeg. Have you tried it in a pasta carbonara the one with bacons and eggs? Have a good day. 🙂
