Share Your World: Week 51

As we approach the end of 2014, here’s my reply to Cee’s Challenge this week.

Would you prefer snowy winters, or not, and why? 

Not!  I really hate snow.  It starts off looking beautiful, and then turns to slush, freezes over, and turns into a nightmare to walk on.  The gutters fill with the same grey slush, and you end up ankle deep trying to get onto a bus.  I now live in a city that has snow once every 40 years, and the last time it snowed here, it was a mere dusting (we had hail, not snow, last winter.  It sat on the ground for a few hours).

And of course it is summer here in the southern hemisphere right now!

So, you’re on your way out and it’s raining. Do you know where your umbrella is or do you frantically search for it all over your apartment/house?

I know where it is, but living in Wellington now I use a hat or rain jacket with a hood as it is usually also very windy.

Do you prefer your food separated or mixed together?

I don’t really understand the question….either….different dishes are served in different ways.

What is set as the background on your computer?

A lily pond.
