This week’s small pleasures #463
Today is the Labour Day holiday here in New Zealand, so, as is the tradition of such days, the weather is ghastly. As I type this evening, the rain is pouring down, and I dare not even run out for a spot of parsley.

It has been a month since I last did a SoS post, and things out in our little garden have grown with leaps and bounds – including, of course, the weeds.

I’m writing this on Wednesday evening, NZ time. There is no wind, the skies are clear if getting dark. You wouldn’t know a weather Red Warning is in place for tomorrow, covering the east coast of the South Island, including Christchurch, up to north of Wellington.
