If we were having coffee…or even a cup of tea…we would say how nice it is to catch up again over a cup of Earl Grey.
If we were having coffee…or even a cup of tea….we would of course talk about the weather, about the beautiful, still sunny days we have had (and no…it isn’t always windy in Wellington despite what some people think) and days of rain and grey (the picture below is the view from the garden on Tuesday evening). We say – typical spring – and laugh.
If we were having coffee…or even a cup of tea…we would talk about what we have been reading, what we have been watching and what things we have been to see. We talk about cooking and eating, about our future plans and friends and family.
If we were having coffee…or even a cup of tea we would talk about going to this year’s WOW (World of Wearable Art). As we are going together, we head off early to get into town to enjoy the performance and agree I will report on that on Monday.

If we were having a glass of wine….oh wait, the performance is about to start!

Our weather used to be like that, fine one day, wet the next, but now we seem to get it in batches, the same for days on end. I am glad to hear that the wind doesn’t always blow in Wellington. That’s one preconception removed.

Spring is so changeable – and yes Welly is not always windy, and in fact is less windy than it was.

I’m looking forward to hearing more about the wearable art. And what’s the magazine at the bottom of your reading material? I love browsing through a nice magazine. Here spring has finally arrived – we’re enjoying warm sunny days but the nights are still very brisk.

WOW was excellent – such amazing creativity and performers in the show. The magazine is a cookery magazine – Cuisine.

Earl Grey is one of my favorites. That wearable art looks like a colorful swirl. Fun!
