Well, who could believe it? Part 90 of this week’s small pleasures….and here they are. Hope you have had a good week, with some nice things to look back on.
Autumn fruits
Looking back on Instagram, I found I posted an almost identical photograph this time last year. Guess it is that time of year, and I love these fruits grouped together. These came from Commonsense Organics, where you can pick up three bags of fruit for $10.

2 Autumn vegetables
Cavolo nero, swiss chard (red and yellow), silverbeet, cabbage, pumpkins….and even beetroots.

Sunday
A massage, a nice lunch out at Field and Green, a Netflix afternoon and a roast chicken for dinner.

Blue skies!

Thanks to Mani over at A New Life Wandering for the original idea.

Fascinating! I’ve never had feijoas before. What do they taste like, and how do you eat them?

You can just cut them in half and eat them with a spoon, or use them in chutney, ice-cream, cakes…they have a sort of scented taste, like pears mixed with a sort of floral overtone. Sounds a bit strange, but they are so good!
