There and back again

So…we are back from ou r trip to Sweden, Denmark and Scotland.  We are back to warmer days (yes…I know…spring to autumn…but believe you me, it was really cold in Europe) and sleeping in our own bed.

The trip was good, the journeys tedious (our luggage didn’t make it from Copenhagen to Edinburgh and 16 hours flying between Dubai and Auckland is a really long flight) and it is nice to be home.  We saw family and friends, ate a lot, walked a lot and talked a lot.  If you’ve been following us around on Instagram, then you will know we had Easter in Stockholm, saw snow fall in Copenhagen and felt the cold winds in Edinburgh.

And so to what is the future of this blog.  The break from blogging was good, and I came to the conclusion that it is time to leave WordPress.  I have been having a few technical issues, and have suddenly attracted a whole pile of ‘robot followers’ so am considering a few changes. Whether Thistles and Kiwis remains as it is, we will see, but I’ll let you know.
