After lots of food on Christmas Eve, and more food yesterday, it was just as well we took a walk around the Botanic Gardens on Christmas Day. We had opened our presents on Christmas Eve, and our stockings in bed on Christmas Day, and Charlie got an extra large bag of treats and a little taste of smoked salmon and ham. The sun came out, the rose garden looked stunning, people were out having Christmas Day picnics and all looked lovely.

The sun is out again today, and I have spent ages on Pinterest looking for ideas of what to do with left over ham. We’re actually going to the cinema this afternoon, which has become something of a Boxing Day tradition, and then I guess we’ll need to tackle all that chocolate…
Thanks for the small pleasures concept to A New Life Wandering.
