Share Your World: Week 43

Cee’s Share Your World challenge this week.  It’s quite interesting doing this as it forces you to think about or write something different.

What is your favorite time of day?

Morning, particularly a sunny morning.  I love that first moment of the day.

What’s your favorite charitable cause and why?

Any cancer research organisation I guess as it is a disease that has touched nearly everyone’s family at some time.

How do you like to spend a rainy day?

On the sofa with a good book or trashy film and lots of tea. Maybe even a bit of home baking.

When writing by hand do you prefer to use a pencil or pen?

A pen, but it has to be the right one!

Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?

Grateful for: I basically had quite a good week last week, so I guess having some time to enjoy Wellington on sunny spring days (we had a few).

Looking forward to: Well, I have tickets for the ballet this week, and although the piece is not really my kind of thing, I always love going anyway.  Last weekend was the “Everything Polish” event, and next Saturday is an event to mark the 50th anniversary of the Swedish Association, so we’ll be swapping pierogi for cinnamon buns!
