Strange weather (sun and wind at the same time) and a cold (my first since arriving in New Zealand) meant this weekend was a slow and leisurely one, with time to catch up on doing nothing. I spent Saturday afternoon on the sofa watching ‘Georgy Girl’, a great film from the 60s, and generally vegging out. I managed to stir myself and make a lasagne for dinner, something I have not done for ages…years even.
I confess to cheating with the topping, mixing low fat sour cream with mozzarella, but it proved to be really tasty and a first class short cut.
Today, Sunday, saw the annual Christmas Parade here in Wellington. We caught the end of it on the way home from seeing ‘Alan Partidge: Alpha Papa’ (really funny) at the Lighthouse Cinema, at least seeing Santa himself, enjoying a bit of Kiwi sunshine.

Finally, Misse Moj shows us how to spend the weekend when not watching movies, food shopping, cooking or cleaning.
