Sunday morning began with croissants and ‘Dr Who’. We settled down to watch the 50th anniversary special ‘The Day of the Doctor’, all curled up on the sofa. It was great fun, and so much better to see it with the rest of the world instead of at a later, more usual time.
The weather was fine again, and so for lunch, we took the ferry over to Day’s Bay, and from there walked to Eastbourne. If you have been reading the blog for a while, you may remember we did this trip a while back. The ferry trip is quite fun, and the walk to Eastbourne is just a short walk along the coast.

Since Sunday, the weather has changed, with lots of rain and turning almost chilly. All this means is a perfect excuse to stay indoors with a good book and drink lots of tea. A current favorite in that department at the moment is Red Seal’s ‘green tea and zesty orange’. It makes a change from lemon and tastes just a bit more summery.
